I am a sessional academic lecturer/tutor in marketing at the School of Economics, Finance and Marketing at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. Over the last 12 years, I have had the good fortune to hold academic and industry roles in the field of design and marketing at various institutions in Australia, California and the Middle East. I have taught both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in areas including buyer behaviour, market research, brand management, marketing and society and international marketing over a three and a half year period. My research passions are situated at the intersection of design and marketing, with an emphasis on design innovation, cultural branding and consumer culture. I have been privileged to present my research at international research conferences in marketing and design innovation and have my work published in internationally recognised journals including the European Journal of Marketing
